Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hugh Matthews (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and KJ Talley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Matthews kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is God & Guns. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Jorge Garcia and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Matthews.
Talley chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Talley with a hook.
Talley connects with a body shot.
Talley lunges at Matthews with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Matthews's hand.
Matthews loads up on a big right hand but Talley slips the punch.
Matthews throws out a loose jab but Talley uses good head movement to avoid it.
Matthews throws a hook to the side of Talley's head but Talley sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Matthews gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Talley.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Matthews uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Talley.
Matthews lands a jab to the nose.
Talley scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Matthews thows a body shot but no joy.
Talley swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Matthews rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Talley counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Talley takes a swing at Matthews's ribcage but misses.
Matthews takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Matthews shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Good shot there by Talley.
Talley scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Talley cracks Matthews with a good jab.
Matthews misses with an uppercut
and Talley counters with a left and a right that stings Matthews.
Matthews is rocked!
KJ Talley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Talley cracks Matthews with a left hook right on the temple and Matthews goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Talley lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Matthews is OK!
