And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Soren Monkongtong!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shigeki Fujiwara and Shirou Masuda.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ueda circles away from the clinch attempt.
Ueda lands a front kick.
Monkongtong feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Uedas jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
A slapping body kick lands there for Ueda.
Monkongtong tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Ueda counters with a left and a right that stings Monkongtong.
Ueda connects with a leg kick. Monkongtong looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Monkongtong dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Monkongtong throws a head kick that misses.
Ueda misses with a head kick.
A solid body kick from Ueda.
Good leg kick by Monkongtong there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Monkongtong.
Monkongtong fails with an attempt to clinch.
Ueda throws a right hand that Monkongtong ducks under and follows up with a left that Monkongtong also avoids with ease.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Monkongtong fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ueda manages to avoid it.
Monkongtong wants to clinch up but Ueda keeps it at a distance.
Monkongtong tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ueda swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Monkongtong tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in the close the distance. Ueda manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Ueda lands with a nice combination. Monkongtong backs away looking to recover.


Monkongtong is rocked!

Ueda clinches up against the ropes.
Monkongtong is still on wobbly legs! Can Ueda finish him?
Ueda is controlling Monkongtong's neck. Ueda unleashes a big knee up the middle! And another! Monkongtong goes down! Can he beat the count? 3,4,5,6... he's not going to make it! 9,10. It's all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knees). Jenji Ueda!
