Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Max Mazer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruce Bocek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bocek is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Kashmir - Led Zeppelin. Bruce Bocek is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Max Mazer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bruce Bocek! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Elvis Blanc and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mazer with a lazy takedown attempt and Bocek counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Mazer is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Bocek pulls his head out easily. Mazer looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Mazer looking for submissions off his back. Bocek wants to take a breather but Mazer is having none of it. Mazer manages to get to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bocek postures up.
Bocek controlling from the top position. Mazer looking for a guillotine here but Bocek defends easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mazer has an active guard here but Bocek has managed to pass into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mazer looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Bocek trying to control the action but Mazer is working from the bottom. Bocek uses his free foot to push down on Mazer's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Mazer. Bocek goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Mazer turns into him and now he's in Bocek's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bocek keeping moving, preventing Mazer from controlling successfully. Mazer passes Bocek's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Bocek trying to control here.
Bocek works his way to full guard. Good work. Mazer passes Bocek's left leg - he's now in half guard. Bocek is trying to maintain the position but Mazer is very close to passing his half guard. Mazer looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mazer is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Bocek still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Bocek has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work! Bocek is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Mazer knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Bocek tries for a kimura but Mazer is defending well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Bruce Bocek will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Bocek closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Bocek lands in his opponent's guard. Mazer escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bocek gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Mazer keeping full guard, as Bocek tries to pass. Bocek wants to control from the top but Mazer keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mazer is looking for a triangle but Bocek pushes his legs off easily.

Bocek moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Mazer. Bocek is looking to take a break and control but Mazer is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bocek wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Mazer, who protects the arm well. Bocek thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Bocek controls the position from side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bruce Bocek showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! And we move into the final round!
Mazer shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Bocek moves into full guard.
Bocek escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Mazer gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Bocek wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Mazer is looking to advance position but Bocek has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Mazer is trying to escape the mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mazer is working hard here to advance position. Bocek avoids the attempt from Mazer to control. Bocek is looking to work his way around to Mazer's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position. Bocek controlling from mount. Mazer tries to hold on but Bocek pushes him away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bocek trying to control but Mazer is having none of it. Bocek thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Mazer is wriggling around trying to escape.

That's three minutes gone in the round. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Bocek seems to be looking for submissions.
Bocek passes to side control. Mazer manages to get back to half guard. Bocek is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Mazer sees it coming and defends easily. Bocek controlling the pace.

Mazer is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Bocek pulls his head out easily. Mazer is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Mazer looking for submissions off his back.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Bruce Bocek. I've got Bocek winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
