Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Damien Edna and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schmidt shoots in and gets a takedown into Sailo's guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Sailo has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Schmidt can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Schmidt tries to stand but Sailo is controlling from the bottom.
Sailo looking for a guillotine here but Schmidt defends easily.
Schmidt gets to his feet - Sailo follows without any prompting.
A punch combination from Schmidt misses.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sailo gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Schmidt counters with a body kick.
Schmidt looks to land a combination but Sailo avoids it well.
Sailo fails with the takedown
and Schmidt counters with a series of strikes. Sailo will be more careful next time no doubt.
Sailo gets the takedown into side control.
Schmidt is pushing Sailo's head away, looking to escape. Sailo manages to hold on to the position though.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Schmidt gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Sailo seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Schmidt is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
