Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ramon Monzon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rex Stout (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Ramon Monzon has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Ramon Monzon seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ramon Monzon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rex Stout! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stout shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Monzon as he jumps to the side. Stout shoots in for a takedown but Monzon shows good takedown defense. Monzon misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Ramon Monzon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Stout scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Stout shoots in for a takedown but Monzon shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Ramon Monzon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rex Stout. Nice sprawl there from Monzon as Stout shoots in. Monzon slaps away a takedown attempt from Stout, before circling back to the center of the mat. Monzon wants to clinch and Stout counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Stout looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Monzon tries to clinch up and Stout connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Monzon wants it to stay on the feet. Stout takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
