Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tekken Slice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Redfield (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tekken Slice could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Chris Redfield's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tekken Slice!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 10 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chris Redfield!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Hugh Johnson and Bruno Hogan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Redfield has managed to clinch.
Redfield tries a body shot but Slice blocks it.
Redfield digs a right hand into Slice's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Slice's gas tank.
Slice stops a takedown attempt from Redfield.
Slice drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Redfield gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Slice.
Redfield displaying some good clinch control by pressing Slice up against the cage.
Redfield wants to stall.
Redfield throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Slices head.
Redfield makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Redfield putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Slice in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.

Slice's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Horrible takedown by Slice or perhaps it was just good defense by Redfield which made him look bad.

Slice looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Redfield is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Slice is breathing heavily.
Slice thows a body shot but no joy.
Redfield looks for a takedown but Slice sprawls well.
Slice swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Redfield throws a left and a right that both miss
and Slice counters with an outside leg kick.
Slice tries to clinch but Redfield moves out of range.

Slice closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Redfield to the mat! Redfield manages to get full guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Redfield is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Slice won't allow Redfield to get back to his feet.

Slice trying to control but Redfield is working from the bottom.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Slice controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Tekken Slice just wasn't active enough.

Redfield doesn't manage to clinch there - Slice circles away.

Redfield has managed to clinch.
Redfield gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Slice.

Redfield prevents Slice from breaking the clinch.
Redfield jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Slice walks away with a smile on his face. Redfield gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Slice has taken the fight to the clinch.
Redfield stalling against the cage.
Slice is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Redfield has Slice pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Slice manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Slice stalling in the clinch but Redfield improves position.
Slice cracks Redfield with a nice body shot.
Redfield misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Slice is looking to break free of the clinch but Redfield has double underhooks.

Slice escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Slice gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Slice is looking for a triangle but Redfield pushes his legs off easily.
Slice is trying to keep Redfield in close.
Redfield really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Slice. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Redfield wants to get up but he can't break Slice's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Redfield rushes Slice and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Slice is trying to pull guard but Redfield turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Slice tries to throw a body punch but Redfield avoids it by throwing Slice back against the cage.
Redfield lands a right hand that snaps the head of Slice backwards.
Redfield effectively controlling the action here.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Redfield.
Redfield is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Redfield using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Slice has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Redfield has Slice pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Slice manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Redfield lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Slice or not.

Slice has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Redfield clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Redfield is really stuck here.
Slice struggling to keep hold of the position.

Slice is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Slice's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
Redfield trying to control the action but Slice just sinks the hooks in.

Redfield is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

Slice is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Redfield is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Tekken Slice overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Redfield.

Redfield closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Slice's guard.

Slice shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Redfield manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Slice is fighting to break Redfield's control of his arms but Redfield is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Chris Redfield is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
