Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Freddy Stinger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richard Batsbak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Freddy Stinger! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Richard Batsbak! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Winston Howard and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Batsbak keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Stinger shoots in looking for a takedown but Batsbak manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Stinger's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Stinger decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Stinger is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Batsbak is just riding it out for now. Stinger eventually gives up the hold. Stinger is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Batsbak defends it well. Stinger is looking for a kimura here.
Batsbak is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Stinger pulls his head out easily. Batsbak looking for subs from the bottom but Stinger mounts him! Batsbak keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Stinger moves to the back position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stinger is cranking Batsbak's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Batsbak! He's tightened the choke and Batsbak is tapping out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Freddy Stinger! Freddy Stinger retains his lightweight title! Freddy Stinger bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
