Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Justin Killer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Meg Didion!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Igor Prikhodko and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Didion, right into the meat.
Didion slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Killer gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Didion.
It looks like Justin Killer has been cut.
Nice cross by Didion.
Killer is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Killer changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Didion tries to avoid it but Killer manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Didion to the ground. Didion escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Oh Killer is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A combination from Didion does no damage.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Killer is defended easily by Didion.
Killer walks straight into a right hand from Didion - that's dropped him! Didion jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Killer from any more punishment! Killer complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Meg Didion!
A very excited looking Meg Didion made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
