The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hammer throws a body punch but Leszcz moves out of range.
Leszcz swinging wildly here.
Leszcz misses with a double jab
and Hammer counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Eleven Hammer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Hammer clinches up against the cage.
Hammer tries a body shot but Leszcz blocks it.
Hammer lands with a left to the head.
Hammer throws a punch but it's blocked by Leszcz.
Leszcz looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Hammer misses with a punch to the body.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Hammer creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Leszcz is trying to break the clinch but Hammer has him pressed against the cage.
Hammer has a couple of punches blocked by Leszcz.

Leszcz breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

letting Hammer counter with a right hand.
Hammer takes a swing at Leszcz's ribcage but misses.

Hammer connects with a right hand. Leszcz shakes it off.

Leszcz is rocked!
Hammer lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Leszcz head around and knocks him out cold! Hammer hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
