The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Montgomery gets caught flat footed, as Worner shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Worner really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Montgomery changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Worner tries to avoid it but Montgomery manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Worner to the ground. Worner escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Montgomery shoots in looking for a takedown but Worner manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Montgomery's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Worner feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Worner drops back, looking for a kneebar! Montgomery looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Montgomery looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Montgomery!
