And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Charles Darwin!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Richard Clark and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cobb has closed the distance and engaged Darwin in a clinch.
Darwin wants to get back to striking at distance but Cobb won't allow it.
Darwin on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Darwin is trying to break the clinch but Cobb has him pressed against the cage.
Cobb lands a nice knee to the body.
Darwin goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Cobb lands a knee to the head.
Darwin misses with a hook to the ribs.
Cobb blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Darwin is trying to stall.
Cobb landing knees to the head.
Cobb is looking to take this one to the mat.
Cobb is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Cobb fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Cobb is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Darwin is defending well for now.

Darwin is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Cobb fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Darwin, pushing him back against the cage.

Cobb tries to work over Darwin's front leg with a kick but Darwin checks it.
Cobb motions for Darwin to come forward. Cobb throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Cobb pushes Darwin up against the cage in a clinch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Cobb misses with a knee strike.

A frustrated look appears on Darwin's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Darwin swings wildly with an uppercut but Cobb uses good head movement to avoid it.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Darwin is rocked!
Cobb working the clinch nicely. Darwin is working for position but Cobb cracks him with a big knee to the head! Darwin crumples up against the cage and Cobb lands two more shots before the ref can save Darwin! This one is all over!

A very excited looking Coco Cobb rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
