Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joelmir Subzero!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Wesley Smith and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Subzero is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Alater's half guard.
Alater wants to control but Subzero is keeping busy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Subzero is looking to take a break and control but Alater is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Subzero not doing much here.
Let's hope that Subzero has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Subzero looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Subzero perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Joelmir Subzero hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Subzero tries to clinch there but Alater circles away.

Subzero clobbers Alater with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Subzero fails with an attempt to clinch.
Alater lands with a thumping leg kick.
Alater is looking to clinch but Subzero is avoiding it.
Subzero wants to clinch up but Alater keeps it at a distance.
A clash of legs there as Alater blocks the low kick.
Subzero gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Alater wants the takedown. Subzero is fighting it off but Alater persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Subzero's guard against the cage.
Subzero is trying to control the position but Alater postures up.
Subzero looking for a sweep. Not yet Subzero, not yet.

Subzero can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Alater controls the pace.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Alater closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Subzero did well to prevent Alater getting side control.
Subzero is looking for a sweep. Alater is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Subzero gets back to full guard.
Alater looking to sit in guard and control but Subzero gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Subzero looking to pass the guard.

Alater keeping moving, preventing Subzero from controlling successfully.
Alater knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Subzero on the ground.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Alater throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Subzero stopping the sweep attempt from Alater.
Alater pushes Subzero off and scrambles back to his feet.

Alater circles away from the clinch attempt.
Alater shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Subzero as he avoids it easily.
Subzero fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Alater avoids it really well and circles away.
Subzero darts in and clinches Alater up against the cage.
Alater is trying to drag Subzero to the mat but Subzero just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Subzero escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Subzero connects with a right hand. Alater shakes it off.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Joelmir Subzero dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
A chopping leg kick lands by Subzero.
Subzero feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Subzero postures up.
Alater doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Alater wants to stand and escape but Subzero is having none of it.
Alater wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Subzero is now in half guard.
Well, if Subzero is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Subzero is looking to advance position but Alater won't allow it.
Subzero not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Subzero wants to take a breather but Alater is having none of it.
Alater works his way to full guard. Good work.
Subzero forces his way into half guard.
Subzero is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Alater wants to control the action here but instead Subzero manages to pass to full mount!
Subzero lands a nice shot to the head.
Subzero fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Alater is trying desperately to improve position.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Subzero pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
A nice elbow there by Subzero.
Subzero can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Alater is looking to escape.

Subzero lands a heavy elbow.
Alater is wriggling around trying to escape.
Subzero lands a big elbow.
Joelmir Subzero has got the better of the ground game so far.
Alater tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Alater is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Subzero locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Alater is forced to tap!
