Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Takeo Okamoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kingston Bartholemeaux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Okamoto comes to the cage accompanied by Morrowind/Skyrim Violin Medley. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Kingston Bartholemeaux!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, William Gold and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Okamoto walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Bartholemeaux checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
A jab lands there for Okamoto.


It looks like Kingston Bartholemeaux has been cut.
Okamoto cracks the inside of Bartholemeaux's front leg.
Okamoto is looking to clinch.
Okamoto tries to bum rush Bartholemeaux with a series of wild strikes but Bartholemeaux uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Bartholemeaux darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Okamoto has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Bartholemeaux is working away from the top position though.
The fighters are battling for position here. Okamoto manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Okamoto is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Bartholemeaux is just riding it out for now. Okamoto eventually gives up the hold.

Okamoto is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Bartholemeaux defends it well.

That was a close round but I would say that Takeo Okamoto will probably get the nod.

Bartholemeaux shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Okamoto is trying to defend but Bartholemeaux finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Kingston Bartholemeaux was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Okamoto will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Bartholemeaux up against the cage.

Takeo Okamoto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Okamoto fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bartholemeaux manages to avoid it.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Okamoto lets loose with a powerful body kick. Bartholemeaux will feel that in the morning.
Bartholemeaux connects with a right hand. Okamoto shakes it off.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Takeo Okamoto.
I think Okamoto has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
