Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Parker McQuail (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Pott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McQuail comes to the cage accompanied by Glasgow Kiss. Pott has chosen Meat Loaf - Bat out of Hell as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Parker McQuail! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Jack Pott! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Donald Grub and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pott checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Pott moves in looking to clinch but McQuail pushes him off. Pott takes a swing at McQuail's ribcage but misses. No luck for McQuail with that takedown attempt. McQuail swings and misses with a shot to the body enabling Pott to counter with a crisp jab. Nice straight punches there by Pott. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Pott. Pott fakes high and swings low for a body shot but McQuail manages to avoid it. Pott blocks a leg kick. McQuail scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Pott doesn't seem bothered though. Some wild striking there from McQuail.
Pott lands a body shot.
McQuail tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Pott swivels and escapes. McQuail with a lazy takedown attempt and Pott counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Parker McQuail. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. McQuail misses with an uppercut
and Pott counters with a stiff right hand. McQuail's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Pott connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! McQuail scrambles back to his feet. Some wild striking there from McQuail.
McQuail looks to land a left hand but Pott moved out of range nicely. McQuail misses the shot to the body. Pott scores with a hook. Jack Pott is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. McQuail takes one to the side of the head.
Pott lands a nice shot that snaps McQuail's head back.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Pott throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Nice shot by Pott. Pott jabs at McQuail's body. Pott is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! McQuail had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. McQuail uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Pott.
McQuail changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Pott keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. McQuail avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Pott, as that shot connected.
McQuail swinging wildly here.
Pott throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McQuail has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Pott finds it's way round the side to connect with McQuail's head. Pott doesn't manage to clinch there - McQuail circles away.
Jack Pott seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Pott scores with a jab to the body. Pott closes the distance and pushes McQuail back into the cage. McQuail jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Pott walks away with a smile on his face. McQuail gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Pott slips a jab from McQuail. McQuail will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Pott throws an uppercut from half a mile away. McQuail sees it coming and avoids it easily. McQuail throws a right hand that Pott ducks under and follows up with a left that Pott also avoids with ease. Pott moves in looking to clinch but McQuail pushes him off.
That's four minutes gone in the round. McQuail throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Pott looks to score with a jab to the body but McQuail is just out of range. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Pott, as that shot connected.
Pott scores with a sloppy right hand. McQuail should have avoided that one. McQuail walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Pott looks to score with a jab to the body but McQuail is just out of range. McQuail ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Pott moves away. McQuail throws a jab when Pott was well out of range. McQuail misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Pott.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Pott thows a body shot but no joy. McQuail throws a combination that misses and Pott counters with a lovely straight right hand! Pott stuns McQuail with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jack Pott dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Pott lands a jab to the nose. McQuail is looking to wear down Pott with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Pott blocks a head kick by McQuail.
Parker McQuail is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Pott misses with a jab, cross combination.
Pott lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Pott works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. McQuail misses with a double jab.
Pott is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Pott tries to clinch up. McQuail misses with a wild body shot. Pott throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

That's one minute gone in the round. McQuail uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Pott. Pott stuns McQuail with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. McQuail has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Pott finds it's way round the side to connect with McQuail's head. McQuail throws an off balance right hand
and Pott counters with a straight right hand. Pott misses the jab. McQuail shoots in for a takedown but Pott shows good takedown defense. McQuail tries to keep at a distance but Pott has taken the fight into the clinch. A right hand to the body from Pott.
Pott lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of McQuail backwards. A short body shot lands from Pott as the two fighters clinch.
Pott lands with a light punch inside. A shot in the inside from Pott.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McQuail wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Pott has him pressed against the cage. McQuail breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Pott lands with a nice body punch. Pott scores with a hook to the body. McQuail takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Pott changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. This is turning into a torrid day at the office for McQuail. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Pott scores with a decent looking hook. McQuail tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Pott was well out of range. Poor timing from McQuail. McQuail misses with the combination.
Pott closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Pott scores with a shot to the side of McQuail's head. McQuail is trying to force a seperation but Pott has the dominant position. Pott scores with an uppercut up the middle.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pott lands on the inside with an uppercut. Pott has McQuail pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. McQuail is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Pott - that's hurt McQuail badly! Oh, another knee lands and McQuail is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but McQuail doesn't seem to be complaining.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:12 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knees). Jack Pott! Jack Pott gave a mention to Hilo Nutrition in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
