Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tom Stroud (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Seany Scholes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stroud comes to the cage accompanied by Vallenfyre - Iconoclast. Scholes has chosen Wonderwall - Oasis as his entrance music. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Seany Scholes!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Sam Margolis and Colin Fotheringham.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stroud throws a nice looking combination but Scholes bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Stroud throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Stroud tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Scholes was well out of range. Poor timing from Stroud.
Scholes takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Stroud throws a combination. Scholes tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

It looks like Seany Scholes has been cut.

Stroud gets a double leg takedown into Scholes's guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Scholes looking to hit a scissor sweep but Stroud is one step ahead there.

Scholes is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Stroud is aware though and is defending well.

Scholes is looking for a triangle but Stroud pushes his legs off easily.
Stroud has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Scholes is proving hard to escape from.
Scholes manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Scholes sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Scholes has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Scholes is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Stroud is surviving well by controlling Scholes's body position as best he can.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Scholes prevents Stroud from getting the reversal.
Stroud tries to lock up and control but Scholes gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Scholes is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Stroud can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Scholes goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Stroud is on top in guard.
Stroud slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Stroud avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Stroud has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Scholes to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Stroud is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Scholes pulls down on the head and he's put Stroud to sleep! This one is all over!
