Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Norman Steel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Hansen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chris Hansen told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Norman Steel! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Chris Hansen! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Phil Schofield and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Steel gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Hansen counters with a lovely shot to the body. Hansen takes a swing at Steel's ribcage but misses. Hansen shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Steel is trying to defend but Hansen finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Hansen is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Hansen seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Steel wants to control but Hansen is keeping busy.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Steel keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Steel regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Hansen. Steel has control of Hansen's left arm, preventing Hansen from doing any damage. Hansen preventing the sweep. Hansen throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hansen with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Hansen scoring with some ground and pound. Hansen landing some decent shots from guard. Steel utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Hansen postures up and lands a big shot to Steel's brow. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hansen throws a big right hand that misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hansen trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Steel looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Hansen puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Steel is looking to get back to full guard here but Hansen has managed to pass to side control instead. The strikes coming from Hansen are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Hansen throws a strike aimed at the side of Steel's head but Steel avoids it well. Hansen working away. Steel avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Hansen. Steel sneaks back into half guard. Hansen is keen to just control but Steel is a slippery customer.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Steel moves into full guard.
Hansen is in close to Steel's body, working some short punches and elbows. Hansen throws a strike but Steel rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Hansen has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Steel looking to pass the guard. Steel with a flurry of punches that miss. Steel wants to control from the top but Hansen keeps moving. Hansen lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Steel! Hansen throwing strikes here but Steel is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Steel in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A nice elbow there by Hansen. The referee warns Steel that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Steel tries to get back to half guard but can't. Hansen postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Steel badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Hansen around the waist but Hansen pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Hansen is the winner by TKO! Hansen jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
