The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DeRozan closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Hitman to the mat! Hitman manages to get full guard.

Hitman stalks DeRozan and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into DeRozan's face. DeRozan staggers backwards, shaken.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hitman tries to bum rush DeRozan with a series of wild strikes but DeRozan uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

and DeRozan counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
DeRozan uses his free foot to push down on Hitman's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Hitman.
You get the feeling that Hitman really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Hitman really doesn't want to stay on the ground with DeRozan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
