Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sergei Mironov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyle Junge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mironov comes to the ring accompanied by Down by Law - by Madball. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sergei Mironov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kyle Junge! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Radbod Blank and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Junge bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Junge gets tackled into the ropes by Mironov. Mironov maintains the clinch. Junge tries to circle away but Mironov has him pinned against the ropes. Mironov prevents Junge from breaking the clinch. Junge has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Mironov lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Junge backwards. Mironov has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Junge avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Mironov breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Mironov lands with a straight right. Junge didn't see that one coming. Junge is looking to clinch. Mironov keeps the fight on the outside. Mironov throws a big shot that misses. Junge tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Mironov paws at him with a jab and circles away. Mironov lands a slapping body shot.

Mironov shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Mironov showed some decent athleticism there. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Mironov tries to pass to full mount but Junge defends it. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Junge can do anything to dispel that myth. Mironov is working hard here to advance position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mironov has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Mironov throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Mironov is in the full mount, landing strikes. Mironov throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Junge really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mironov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Mironov landing strikes from the mount and Junge is in trouble! The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Mironov sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mironov jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Junge manages to avoid the submission attempt. Mironov sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Junge is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Mironov trying to control the action but Junge is working from the bottom. Mironov looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Mironov lands a nice forearm strike.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mironov in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Mironov is looking to take a break and control but Junge is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Mironov sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Junge is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Junge dodges the ground and pound from Mironov. Mironov in side control, throwing shots but Junge defends. Mironov working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Mironov misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Mironov lands a nice forearm strike.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mironov throws a strike aimed at the side of Junge's head but Junge avoids it well. Mironov postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Mironov has hold of Junge's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Junge seems comfortable defending it but Mironov has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Junge is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Junge is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Mironov couldn't care less - he's delighted!
