And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Brabada Bango!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Paulsen Ambrosius and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
An inside leg kick lands from Harju.
Harju throws out a powerful jab.
Kalju Harju seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Harju scores with a head kick. Bango tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Harju fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Bango looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Harju looks to score with a jab to the body but Bango is just out of range.
Nice takedown defense from Harju. No joy for Bango on that attempt.
Harju throws a leg kick but Bango sees it coming and moves out of range.

and Harju finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Harju scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bango slips a straight right by Harju.
Nice uppercut lands for Harju. That snapped Bango's head back.
Bango has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Harju finds it's way round the side to connect with Bango's head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Bango stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Harju.
Harju lands a right hook to the body.
Harju lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Bango at a distance.
Harju swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Harju comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
That kick from Harju tenderised Bango's leg. Bango is trying to keep his angry face on.
Bango looks winded!
Harju punishes Bango's body with a nice straight punch.
Kalju Harju is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
A good leg kick by Harju.
Bango walks into a straight right hand from Harju.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Harju throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Bango.
Bango is rocked!
Harju tries a head kick but it misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Harju lands a big uppercut and Bango crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Bango looks OK. Harju waves Bango back to his feet!
Bango is still on wobbly legs! Can Harju finish him?
Bango doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Harju counters with a perfectly timed head kick, knocking Bango out cold! Wow, that took some serious skill and not a little luck! Harju is taking it in his stride though, strolling around like it's no big deal. What a guy.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Kalju Harju!
