Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kalju Harju (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Kuoppala (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kuoppala is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Children of Bodom - Warheart. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Radbod Blank and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harju drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Harju trying to control the position from guard on top but Kuoppala is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Harju with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Harju engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Kuoppala tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Harju is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Kalju Harju.
Harju tries for a takedown but Kuoppala sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Harju creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Kuoppala blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Harju tries to throw a body punch but Kuoppala avoids it by throwing Harju back against the ropes.

Harju shoots for a double leg takedown but Kuoppala sprawls well. He's pushed Harju's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Kuoppala misses with an uppercut. Harju saw that one coming.
Harju slips a jab and a cross from Kuoppala.

Kuoppala tries to close the distance and clinch but Harju swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Harju fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Kuoppala looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Kuoppala misses with a straight left.
Kuoppala moves away from the strike by Harju.
Harju misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Harju shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kuoppala as he avoids it easily.
Harju throws a body punch but Kuoppala moves out of range.
Harju swats away the attempt to clinch by Kuoppala.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Kuoppala moves out of range as Harju throws a body kick.
Kalju Harju seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Harju shoots in looking for a takedown. Kuoppala tries to sprawl out of it but Harju keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Kuoppala manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Kalju Harju will probably get the nod.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kuoppala lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Harju falls backwards - clearly groggy! Kuoppala dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
