The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hovimaki is looking to clinch.

Dawg changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hovimaki tries to avoid it but Dawg manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hovimaki to the ground. Hovimaki escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
