Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Behnder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mitch McDonald (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McDonald has chosen Sounds of Silence as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Russell Pearce and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McDonald connects with a right hand. Behnder shakes it off.
McDonald looks for the body kick but Behnder saw that one coming.
McDonald lands with a cross.
Behnder takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Behnder throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and McDonald counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
McDonald loads up on a big right hand but Behnder slips the punch.
McDonald lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Behnder shoots in and drives through. McDonald sprawls well.
McDonald uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Behnder has time to react.
It looks like Marcus Behnder has been cut.
McDonald scores with a decent looking hook.
Behnder shoots in looking for a takedown. McDonald tries to sprawl out of it but Behnder keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. McDonald manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
McDonald sizes up Behnder with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
McDonald fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Behnder to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Behnder looks to clinch but McDonald throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Behnder taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Mitch McDonald!
Mitch McDonald is the new super heavyweight champion!
Mitch McDonald decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
