The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Swain as Warren shoots in.
Warren fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Warren shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Warren showed some decent athleticism there.
Swain is trying to maintain the position but Warren is very close to passing his half guard.
Swain is not content to let Warren control the position.
Warren wants to free his trapped foot but Swain is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Warren takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Warren uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Swain has time to react.

Warren sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Swain's guard.
Swain avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Warren.

Warren is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Warren is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Swain is just riding it out for now. Warren eventually gives up the hold.

Heidan Warren overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
