Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Diego Batista (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Cormier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Batista might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Triunfo . Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Diego Batista! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Daniel Cormier! The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Seu Braga and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Batista misses with the combination.
Cormier connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. A big right from Batista misses. Batista throws a combination. Cormier tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
It looks like Daniel Cormier has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Batista throws a series of punches but Cormier avoids them all with ease. Batista swings for the body but Cormier moves out of range.
Batista gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Cormier to score an easy takedown into full guard. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Cormier slips nicely into half guard. Cormier passes to full mount! Batista on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Batista tries to get out of the position. Batista is in a horrible position here. Cormier smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cormier looking to finish Batista with some ground and pound. This is bad for Batista! Cormier lands a heavy elbow. Cormier trying to control but he's not successful this time. Cormier dominating with strikes here. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A big strike lands for Cormier! That's really hurt Batista and he's turned his back - Cormier keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Cormier jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
