The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Remark fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Kickem moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Kickem throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

It looks like Erickh Remark has been cut.

Remark is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Kickem's half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Remark stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

Remark throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kickem.
Kickem lands a leg kick that knocks Remark off balance momentarily.
Remark takes a kick to the side of the head.
Kickem lands with a slapping head kick.
