Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zina da Fiel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roy Skaar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Skaar throws a leg kick but da Fiel sees it coming and moves out of range.
No luck for da Fiel with that takedown attempt.
da Fiel has a takedown stuffed.
da Fiel avoids a punch combination nicely.
Roy Skaar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
da Fiel shoots in for a takedown but Skaar shows good takedown defense.

da Fiel seems to have got his legs back now.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Skaar misses with a series of wild punches.
da Fiel shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Horrible takedown by da Fiel or perhaps it was just good defense by Skaar which made him look bad.
No joy there for Skaar, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Zina da Fiel is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Skaar drops da Fiel with a right and a left! Skaar comes rushing in but da Fiel regains his composure and manages to keep Skaar in guard.

Zina da Fiel's cut is getting worse.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Skaar won't allow da Fiel to sweep him here.
Oh da Fiel is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
da Fiel preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
da Fiel is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
da Fiel seems to have got his legs back now.
da Fiel seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Skaar does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Skaar is not content to let da Fiel control the position.
da Fiel is taking a breather. Skaar says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

da Fiel wants to lay and pray for a moment but Skaar keeps working.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
da Fiel is pressing down on Skaar's thigh, looking to free his foot. Skaar is holding on for now.
Skaar wants to get back to his feet.
da Fiel is keen to just control but Skaar is a slippery customer.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
da Fiel looks to land a combination but Skaar avoids it well.
da Fiel looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Skaar is fending him off so far but da Fiel persists. Nope, Skaar circles away and we're back to standing.

Skaar scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Skaar stalks da Fiel and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into da Fiel's face. da Fiel staggers backwards, shaken.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for da Fiel. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Skaar closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Skaar throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around da Fiel's waist but da Fiel gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Skaar off to one side.
da Fiel changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Skaar tries to avoid it but da Fiel manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Skaar to the ground. Skaar escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
da Fiel will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Skaar is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Skaar rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but da Fiel moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

da Fiel has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Skaar is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Skaar wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but da Fiel has him pressed against the cage.

da Fiel feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Skaar's calf.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Zina da Fiel.
I think Skaar has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
