The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Klinkhammer lands a lovely overhand right.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from James is defended easily by Klinkhammer.

James shoots in looking for a takedown. Klinkhammer tries to sprawl out of it but James keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Klinkhammer manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
James tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Klinkhammer manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
James avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

and James counters with a single leg into guard. Klinkhammer didn't expect that.

James pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Klinkhammer back to the cage. James follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Klinkhammer lands a left and a right that send James crashing to the mat, dazed. Klinkhammer thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
