Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Donnovan Milliner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richard Roberts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Donnovan Milliner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Richard Roberts!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Elvis Blanc and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roberts looks to land a body kick but Milliner moved away.
Roberts defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Milliner.
Roberts shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Roberts shoots in but no luck this time.
Milliner shoots for a double leg takedown but Roberts sprawls well. He's pushed Milliner's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Roberts gets caught napping as Milliner dives in and scores a takedown. Roberts manages to retain guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Roberts is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Roberts tries to bench press Milliner off him but Milliner keeps the position.

Milliner jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Roberts manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Roberts drops back, looking for a kneebar! Milliner looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Milliner looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Milliner!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Roberts tries to lock up and control but Milliner gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Milliner has hold of Roberts's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Roberts manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Roberts drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Milliner manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Roberts has Milliner in his guard.
