Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paul Strong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alan Hegart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Strong's entrance music is Ace Of Spades. A fine choice. Alan Hegart has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Paul Strong's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Roosa Järviläinen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Strong lands a body shot.
Hegart looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Strong shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Hegart's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Strong not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Strong wants to pass the guard but Hegart is keeping the position.
Strong could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Hegart looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Strong is looking to stand up but Hegart won't let him.
Strong stopping the sweep attempt from Hegart.
Strong wants to stand but Hegart has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Strong trying to control the position from guard on top but Hegart is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Strong sitting in guard, not really doing much.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Strong closes the distance and clinches.
Strong gets underhooks to prevent Hegart's takedown attempt.
Strong breaks from the clinch.
Strong fails with the takedown.
Hegart takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Strong throws the left hand but Hegart avoids the punch easily.
Hegart dodges the punch combination from Strong.
Strong lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Strong closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Strong trying to control the action but Hegart is working from the bottom.
Still in half guard, Strong seems content to control.
Hegart moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Hegart is controlling Strong's posture.
Hegart wants to sweep but no luck.
Hegart had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Strong is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Hegart Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Strong's back instead.
Hegart looking for the choke from the back.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
You can see the frustration on Strong's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Can Strong hold on?! Hegart is landing more strikes to his hapless foe.
Hegart is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Strong knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Strong for a finish.
Strong trying to control the hands but Hegart breaks the grip.
Hegart has the hooks in. Strong is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Hegart is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Strong won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Hegart off his unconscious opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Alan Hegart!
