Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Michael Millar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Khalil Bradley! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Millar dives in and grabs Bradley's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bradley pushes down on Millar's head and hops out. Bradley lands with a slapping head kick. Millar scores with a kick to the midsection. Bradley misses the shot to the body. Millar closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Millar wants to stand up but Bradley has a hold of him and won't allow it. Millar is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

That's one minute gone in the round. Millar controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Bradley is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Millar trying to control but Bradley is working from the bottom. Bradley is looking to stand up but Millar isn't so interested in that idea.
Michael Millar has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Bradley changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Millar tries to avoid it but Bradley manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Millar to the ground. Millar escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Millar displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Bradley. Millar tries to keep at a distance but Bradley has taken the fight into the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Millar is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Bradley to keep the fight standing. Bradley's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Millar pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Millar shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bradley but Bradley pushes him off and we're back to square one. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Michael Millar. That's going to take a lot out of him. Millar closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Bradley to the mat! Bradley manages to get full guard. Bradley looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Millar really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Bradley looking to hit a scissor sweep but Millar is one step ahead there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Millar trying to control the position from guard on top but Bradley is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bradley working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Millar has passed into half guard!
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
It looks like Millar is going to stand back up.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Bradley is looking to control Millar's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Bradley avoid being mounted?
That's four minutes gone in the round. Millar thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Bradley's head. Millar decides to return to a standing position. Millar fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Bradley throws a head kick but Millar moves out of range.
Bradley takes a body punch but keeps moving. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Millar shoots for a takedown but Bradley saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Bradley is looking to clinch but Millar is avoiding it.
Bradley looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Millar is fending him off so far but Bradley persists. Nope, Millar circles away and we're back to standing. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Millar clinches up with Bradley and pushes him back against the cage. Bradley jumps guard but Millar turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Millar fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Bradley tries to score a body lock takedown but Millar shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Millar tries to pull guard but Bradley won't allow it.
Bradley breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
The fight stays on the outside here - Bradley looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Millar tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Bradley manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Bradley shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Millar but Millar pushes him off and we're back to square one. Michael Millar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Khalil Bradley. The fight stays on the outside here - Bradley looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Bradley misses with a double jab.
That's one minute gone in the round. Millar slaps away a takedown attempt from Bradley, before circling back to the center of the mat. Bradley fails in his attempt to clinch. Millar misses with a takedown attempt - Bradley sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Bradley fails in his attempt to clinch. Millar changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bradley tries to avoid it but Millar manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bradley to the ground. Bradley escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Bradley throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Millar's waist but Millar gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bradley off to one side. Bradley is breathing heavily. Millar manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Bradley on his heels. He'll look to pass Bradley's guard now, I'm sure. Bradley tries to land a sweep but no joy. Bradley keeping full guard, as Millar tries to pass. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Millar controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Bradley is trying to keep Millar in close.
Bradley lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Millar! Bradley looking to ground and pound but Millar is blocking nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Millar tries to hold on but Bradley postures up. Millar is trying to escape the mount.
Bradley avoids the attempt from Millar to control. Millar is looking to get to half guard. Bradley with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Millar tries to lock up and control but Bradley gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Bradley unloads with some shots from mount but Millar bucks and avoids them well.
Millar tries to hold on but Bradley postures up. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Bradley controlling his opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Michael Millar will probably get the nod. That's time! Millar's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Bradley shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Millar pinned against the cage. Millar gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Bradley takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Millar closes the distance and clinches.

Millar ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Millar no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Bradley wanted to stand there but Millar had control of the position. Millar is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Bradley is aware though and is defending well. Millar avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Millar is trying to keep Bradley in close.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bradley stands up and waves to Millar to follow him. Millar shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bradley but Bradley pushes him off and we're back to square one. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Michael Millar. That's four minutes gone in the round. Millar shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bradley as he jumps to the side. Bradley darts in and clinches Millar up against the cage. Bradley with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Bradley jumps guard but Millar stands there with Bradley around his waist. Bradley gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Khalil Bradley has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Michael Millar is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Bradley swinging wildly here.
