The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Shirou Masuda and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yoshimitsu shoots for a double leg takedown but Reve sprawls well. He's pushed Yoshimitsu's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Yoshimitsu is trying hard to land a takedown here. Reve sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Reve goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

and Yoshimitsu counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Reve's guard now.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Reve swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Yoshimitsu tries to score a power double leg takedown but Reve sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Yoshimitsu somewhat.
