Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nanner Nuts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Gee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nuts comes to the cage accompanied by Bananaman. Gee has chosen Can't be touched as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Nanner Nuts! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Nick Gee! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Donatello Bradman and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gee lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Nuts tries to clinch up but Gee circles away and keeps his distance. Nuts tries to close the distance and clinch up but Gee swats him away and circles back towards the center. Nuts closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Gee is looking to regain half guard here but Nuts keeps moving and retains side control. Gee is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Nuts's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Gee is trying to stand up here but Nuts is controlling him well. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Gee can do anything to dispel that myth. Nuts moves into full mount! Gee won't be happy about that! Gee trying desperately to get to his feet.
Nuts has control of Gee's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Gee regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Nuts is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Gee is surviving well by controlling Nuts's body position as best he can. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gee's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Gee is looking to get to half guard. Nuts is standing up, even though he is in mount. Gee scores with a crisp jab that stopped Nuts in his tracks. Gee tries to clinch there but Nuts circles away.
Gee looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Gee moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Gee misses with a takedown attempt and Nuts moves into the clinch. Gee wants a takedown but no success here.
Gee looks gassed!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gee fails to pull guard.
Nanner Nuts has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nick Gee. Nuts misses with a knee strike.
Gee avoiding damage as Nuts throws knees to the body.
Gee has had enough of the clinch but Nuts keeps him there for the moment. Gee tries to score a body lock takedown but Nuts shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Gee wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Nuts gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. A nice glancing elbow lands by Nuts. A knee to the head by Nuts.
Gee blocks an elbow strike from Nuts.
Gee is trying to break the clinch but Nuts has him pressed against the cage. Knees to the body from Nuts.
Gee can't break the clinch.
Nuts misses with a knee strike.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Nuts just misses with a elbow thrown towards Gee's brow. Nuts breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Nuts fails in his attempt to clinch. Nuts misses with a combination
and Gee counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Nuts manages to get to full guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Nuts has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Gee can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gee trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gee would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Gee is sitting in close to Nuts's body. Nuts has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Gee is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Gee is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Nuts.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Nanner Nuts! Nanner Nuts is the new welterweight champion!
