The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gale turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Gale keeps the fight on the outside.
Gale avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
An inside leg kick lands from Gale.
Zulfiqar has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Gale finds it's way round the side to connect with Zulfiqar's head.
A nice inside leg kick there by Gale. That's going to slow Zulfiqar down.
Gale turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Gale scores with a nice body kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Gale lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Zulfiqar looks winded!
Gale throws a head kick that Zulfiqar semi-blocks.
It looks like Jahangir Zulfiqar has been cut.
Gale connects with an inside leg kick.
Gale with a jab.
Zulfiqar gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Zulfiqar walks into a straight right hand from Gale.
Gale feints and then cracks Zulfiqar's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Zulfiqar down.
Gale seems to be stalking Zulfiqar here. He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastatic head kick! Zulfiqar drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!? What a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Codi Gale!
Codi Gale got down on his knees post fight and begged the management for a title shot. 'Please, I want that title shot so bad! Give it to me!'
