Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Willie Everride! The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Ryoma Takatsuka and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lawal shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Everride looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Lawal lands strikes from half guard. Lawal lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Nice strikes from Lawal there. Lawal seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. Everride really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lawal. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. This has been an exciting period of action! That's two minutes gone in the round. Lawal looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Everride covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
