Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Akuma Chase (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gray Potter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Potter is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Biggie Smalls - Victory. Gray Potter has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Akuma Chase! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
23 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gray Potter! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Alan Glass and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Potter on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Potter leaves Chase with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Potter shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Chase sprawls well. Chase wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Potter gets slowly back to his feet. Potter keeps the fight on the outside. Potter fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Chase is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Potter's half guard. Potter tries to kick Chase off but Chase keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Potter is refusing to be controlled, as Chase sits in half guard. Potter looks like he's trying to stand up.
Potter tries to get to full guard but Chase has control of the leg. Chase is keen to just control but Potter is a slippery customer. Chase slows the pace down in half guard.
Akuma Chase has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Chase shoots in for a takedown but Potter shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chase drives through and clinches with Potter against the cage.
Potter has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Chase has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Potter after a bit of a struggle. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Akuma Chase. That's going to take a lot out of him. Potter stops a takedown attempt from Chase.

Potter is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Potter missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Potter takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Potter winds up and cracks Chase with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Potter sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Chase defending well though. Potter throwing shots but Chase is blocking nicely. Potter is looking to take a break and control but Chase is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Chase is looking to escape. Potter looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Potter thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Chase is not content to let Potter control the position. Chase wants to improve his position but Potter is controlling well.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Chase wants to control but Potter is keeping busy.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Potter lands a jab-cross combination. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gray Potter dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
The fight moves into the clinch position. Chase gets underhooks to prevent Potter's takedown attempt.
Potter is trying to force a seperation but Chase has the dominant position. Chase is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Chase trying to land knees to the body.
Potter is looking to take this one to the mat. Chase jumps guard and drags Potter to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Potter postures up in Chase's guard and throws a big left but Chase blocks it. Potter has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Chase wants to get back to his feet but Potter passes into half guard.
Potter is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Potter looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Chase with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Potter looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Potter working the head and body with strikes. Potter sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Chase defending well though. Potter takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Chase is refusing to be controlled, as Potter sits in half guard. Chase avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Potter. Nice strikes from Potter there. Chase is not content to let Potter control the position. Potter landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Potter prevents Chase from improving his position. Potter perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Chase moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Potter is looking to work some ground and pound but Chase has wrist control. Potter postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Potter is looking to work some ground and pound but Chase has wrist control. Chase keeping moving, preventing Potter from controlling successfully. Potter won't allow Chase to get back to his feet. Chase is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Chase trying to keep a closed guard but Potter is proving a slippery customer.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Potter wants to control from the top but Chase keeps moving. Potter is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Potter throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Chase works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Potter passes Chase's left leg - he's now in half guard. Potter working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Chase on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Chase is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Potter pulls his head out easily. Potter with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Potter trying to control the action but Chase is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Potter frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Potter lands a big elbow - Chase is in trouble! More strikes from the mount and Chase is forced to tap out!
