Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Keast Kann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bod Zio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zio is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Old Mcdonald had a farm. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Ackerman and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kann rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Zio moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
A big right from Kann misses.
Zio misses with an uppercut. Kann saw that one coming.
Zio fakes the leg kick and cracks Kann in the body.
Kann shoots in for a double leg but Zio sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Zio throws a right hand that misses
and Kann counters with a series of strikes. Zio will be more careful next time no doubt.
Zio is looking to slow Kann down with leg kicks.
Zio catches Kann with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

and Kann counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Zio looking for a guillotine here but Kann defends easily.
Kann is in close to Zio's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Zio is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Zio is looking for a triangle but Kann pushes his legs off easily.
Kann is working Zio over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Zio has momentary wrist control but Kann slips an elbow through the middle.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Kann's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Zio looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Zio is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Kann is aware though and is defending well.
Kann passes Zio's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kann thows a huge punch but Zio dodges it nicely.

Kann has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Kann is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

You can see the frustration on Zio's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Kann lands a strong strike to the head of Zio. That's dazed him! Kann looking to finish here. Zio is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Kann lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
