Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Will Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nathan Silver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Will Smith! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nathan Silver! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Gregory Folan and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Smith tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Silver swivels and escapes. Silver dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Smith avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Smith clinches up with Silver and pushes him back against the cage. Smith breaks from the clinch.

Smith shoots in but no luck this time. Silver throws a hook to the side of Smith's head but Smith sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Silver lands a jab to the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Silver lands a jab. Silver feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Smith sprawling to the canvas! Smith rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Silver finish him?!
Silver scores with a decent looking hook. Smith looks for the body kick but Silver saw that one coming. Smith moves into range and clinches up with Silver. Silver misses with some punches.
Smith tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Will Smith. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Silver tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Smith pushes off an throws an elbow but Silver leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Smith trying to stall but Silver improves his position.
Silver lands a shoulder strike. Smith manages to break the clinch.
Smith on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Silver fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Smith to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Smith looks to clinch but Silver throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Smith taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Nathan Silver! During a confident post fight interview, Nathan Silver thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
