The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Steve Montenegro and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jardine drives through and clinches with Cooper against the cage.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Jardine is trying to force a seperation but Cooper has the dominant position.
Cooper is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Jardine to keep the fight standing.
Cooper tries to pull guard but Jardine won't allow it.
Jardine wants to break the clinch but can't.

Jardine pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Cooper back to the cage. Jardine follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Jardine misses with a double jab
and Cooper counters with a left and a right that stings Jardine.
Cooper gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Jardine.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jardine throws a series of punches but Cooper avoids them all with ease.
Cooper shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Jardine pinned against the cage. Jardine gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
No joy there for Jardine, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Kyle Jardine seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jardine cracks Cooper with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Cooper throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jardine's waist but Jardine gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Cooper off to one side.

Cooper is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Jardine lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

This has been an exciting period of action!
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Jardine controls Cooper momentarily but Cooper frees himself.

Cooper passes Jardine's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Cooper wants to work for an arm triangle but Jardine is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Cooper is working for a submission of some sort.
Jardine works his way to full guard. Good work.
Jardine might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Cooper drops back looking for a leg! Jardine is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Jardine manages to kick Cooper off! Cooper jumps back into Jardine's guard.

Jardine wants to sweep here but Cooper controlling him for the moment.
Jardine can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Cooper controls the pace.
Cooper won't allow Jardine to sweep him here.
Cooper drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Cooper seems to have locked his on tight now - Jardine screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Cooper, as he picks up the win!
