The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Alyssa Summers and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Preston misses with a double jab.
Blagojevic looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Preston wants to improve his position but Blagojevic is controlling well.
Preston really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Blagojevic wants to pass to mount but Preston is defending the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Blagojevic looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Preston with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Blagojevic takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Preston wants to control but Blagojevic is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Blagojevic decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Blagojevic closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Preston quickly recovers to half guard.
Blagojevic seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Preston tries to sprawl but Blagojevic drives through with a takedown into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Blagojevic seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Blagojevic has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Preston defend it? Blagojevic steps over the head and cranks it - Preston is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Blagojevic!
