Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Quala Bear (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Renzo DeSilka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). DeSilka has chosen International Love by Pitbull as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Quala Bear could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Renzo DeSilka's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Josh West and Ryoma Takatsuka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DeSilka takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Bear changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. DeSilka looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Bear throws a combination but it was largely blocked by DeSilka.

DeSilka might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Bear kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Bear wants to hold on but DeSilka pushes him away.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bear closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. DeSilka quickly recovers to half guard.

Bear seems to be looking for submissions.
DeSilka is in trouble now - Bear has advanced to mount!
DeSilka tries to reverse the position but Bear maintains control.

Bear jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but DeSilka manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Bear working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.



Bear shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in DeSilka's guard.
DeSilka wants to sweep but no luck.

Bear throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Bear is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Quala Bear seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Bear leaves DeSilka with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
DeSilka closes the distance and clinches up with Bear, looking for a takedown. DeSilka pushes Bear against the cage but Bear circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Bear!

Quala Bear has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Renzo DeSilka.
Bear throws a hook to the side of DeSilka's head but DeSilka sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Bear is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
