The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Deovoni has a takedown stuffed.
Thai tries to close the distance and clinch but Deovoni swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Deovoni shoots in for a takedown but Thai shows good takedown defense.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Thai lunges at Deovoni with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Deovoni's hand.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Deovoni accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Thai takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Deovoni, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
