Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ricardo Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Okin Slavas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie comes to the ring accompanied by Gracie Entrance. Slavas is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: WolfMother. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ricardo Gracie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Okin Slavas! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Steve Smith and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gracie gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Slavas. Decent striking displayed by Slavas there. Slavas throws a push kick but Gracie slaps the foot to one side. Slavas misses the shot to the body. Gracie slips a jab from Slavas. Gracie doesn't succeed with the takedown and Slavas counters with a lovely shot to the body. Slavas fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Gracie manages to avoid it. Slavas keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Gracie fails with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ricardo Gracie. That's going to take a lot out of him. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Gracie scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Gracie misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
You can see the frustration on Slavas's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Gracie advances nicely into full mount. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
That's one minute gone in the round. Slavas is in a horrible position here. Gracie smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Slavas wants to control but Gracie is having none of it. Slavas slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Gracie looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Slavas slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Gracie trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Slavas looking for a sweep. Not yet Slavas, not yet. Slavas is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Slavas keeping moving, preventing Gracie from controlling successfully. Slavas wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Slavas controls Gracie momentarily but Gracie frees himself.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Okin Slavas hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Slavas misses with a straight left. Okin Slavas is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Gracie shoots and misses and Slavas counters with a straight right hand. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! An inside leg kick lands from Slavas. Gracie misses with a takedown attempt enabling Slavas to counter with a crisp jab. Jab from Slavas. Gracie uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Slavas. Slavas misses with a few strikes there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters circling - Slavas throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Gracie fails with a takedown attempt. Gracie checks a low kick from Slavas. Gracie showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Slavas.
Slavas throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Gracie is defended easily by Slavas. Slavas closes the distance and lands a one-two. Gracie is breathing heavily. Slavas throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Gracie on the side of the head. Gracie shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Slavas counters with a right hand to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Slavas lands a left and a right that send Gracie crashing to the mat, dazed. Slavas thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Gracie takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Gracie is rocked! Slavas misses with a low kick.
Oh Gracie is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Okin Slavas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Slavas lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Gracie up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Slavas from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Gracie's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Okin Slavas! After the fight, Okin Slavas was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
