Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yokida Matae (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mickey McFinnigan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McFinnigan is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by My Drunken Irish Dad. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
28 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Yokida Matae! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mickey McFinnigan! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shigeki Sano and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McFinnigan gets cracked there but stands up to it.
It looks like Mickey McFinnigan has been cut. Matae misses the shot to the body. McFinnigan scores with a nice head shot.
It looks like Yokida Matae has been cut. Thud! ouch! good body kick from McFinnigan - that will leave a mark!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! McFinnigan throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Matae throws a nice looking combination but McFinnigan bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Matae takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Matae throws a head kick but McFinnigan moves out of range.
Matae has closed the distance and engaged McFinnigan in a clinch.
Matae tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Matae stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Matae takes an elbow to the temple. A quick uppercut on the inside from Matae. McFinnigan pushes off an throws an elbow but Matae leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. McFinnigan blocks a body shot from Matae. Matae tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Matae has a couple of punches blocked by McFinnigan.
McFinnigan working some nice short punches in the clinch. Matae doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. Matae lands a shot to the body. Matae takes a knee right on the jaw!
Yokida Matae's cut is getting worse. Nice body punch from Matae. McFinnigan blocking some punches.
McFinnigan tries a knee to the head but Matae blocks it.
Matae stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Matae can't find room to land a body shot as McFinnigan controls the action.
McFinnigan blocks a body shot from Matae. Matae lands on the inside with an uppercut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Matae's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Matae fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. A big right from McFinnigan misses. McFinnigan keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Matae misses with a straight right. McFinnigan throws a nice inside leg kick. McFinnigan moves out of range of the strikes. Matae lands with a kick to the temple. McFinnigan shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
That's two minutes gone in the round. Matae has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by McFinnigan. Matae is breathing heavily. McFinnigan showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Matae.
McFinnigan ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. McFinnigan lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. McFinnigan throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Matae swats away the attempt to clinch by McFinnigan. Matae takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. McFinnigan changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Nice body kick from McFinnigan. McFinnigan throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McFinnigan lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Matae tries to score with a low kick but McFinnigan moves his leg out of the way. McFinnigan scores with a body shot.
Matae sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Matae chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before McFinnigan can pounce on him.
McFinnigan fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Matae looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. McFinnigan goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. McFinnigan ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. McFinnigan lands with a shot to the body. McFinnigan fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Matae has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Matae will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body. McFinnigan lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Matae on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. McFinnigan is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Matae rather than just go for the knockout.
That's four minutes gone in the round. McFinnigan throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. McFinnigan lands a jab to Matae's midsection. McFinnigan is looking to clinch. McFinnigan lands a two punch combo.
Yokida Matae's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Yokida Matae seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The fight moves into the clinch position. McFinnigan with a knee to the head.
Jeez, Yokida Matae's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Yokida Matae's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Mickey McFinnigan! Our winner, Mickey McFinnigan, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
