Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Momoshiro Kitsune (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Caol Uno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kitsune comes to the cage accompanied by 僕はミス・テイク~. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Caol Uno was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Momoshiro Kitsune! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Caol Uno! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Taro Takaoka and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kitsune shoots in looking for a takedown but Uno manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kitsune's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Kitsune with a poor takedown and Uno counters with a lovely shot to the body. Kitsune shoots in and bounces Uno off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Kitsune drops back, looking for a kneebar! Uno looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Uno looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Uno! Kitsune tries to bench press Uno off him but Uno keeps the position. You can see the frustration on Kitsune's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kitsune tries to improve position but can't. Kitsune prevents Uno from improving position. Kitsune tries to improve position but can't.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kitsune is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Uno is one step ahead and moves to full mount! Kitsune is looking to get to half guard. Uno controlling the pace for now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kitsune is really trying hard to get back to his feet.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kitsune tries to lock up and control but Uno gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Uno tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Momoshiro Kitsune will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Kitsune fails with the takedown and Uno connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Kitsune doesn't succeed with the takedown letting Uno counter with a right hand. Kitsune shoots for a double leg takedown but Uno sprawls well. He's pushed Kitsune's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Momoshiro Kitsune. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kitsune gets a double leg takedown into Uno's guard. Uno keeping moving, preventing Kitsune from controlling successfully. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Uno holds on and takes a little breather. Uno lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Kitsune! Uno sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Uno avoids the attempt from Kitsune to control. Uno blocks Kitsune's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. Kitsune is desperately trying to improve his position but Uno has a good base and remains in mount. Uno controlling his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Momoshiro Kitsune overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Kitsune really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

Uno tests Kitsune's chin there with a solid looking shot. Momoshiro Kitsune is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. A punch combination from Uno misses. Momoshiro Kitsune seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kitsune scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Kitsune goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Uno has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Kitsune but great work by Uno. Kitsune looks to move to half guard but instead Uno has passed into mount! Damn! Uno sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Kitsune is working to get back to half guard.

Kitsune bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Kitsune pushing down on Uno's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Kitsune is looking for a kimura but Uno is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Kitsune to get the leverage. Kitsune is working for a kimura here but Uno manages to reverse the position and he's now in Kitsune's guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Kitsune looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Uno has picked Kitsune up and slammed him! Kitsune can't keep hold of the triangle and Uno manages to pass to side control! Uno controlling the position. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Uno blocks the strikes from Kitsune.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kitsune manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Kitsune has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Uno escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Uno! Kitsune is trying to get back to half guard. Kitsune is trying to work for a sweep but Uno has mounted him! Uno controlling from mount. Kitsune is wriggling around trying to escape.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Uno controlling his opponent. Kitsune is looking to improve his position but Uno isn't that keen on the idea. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kitsune swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Momoshiro Kitsune. I think Kitsune has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
