The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Jones shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Jones thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Button's head.
Jones is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Button sees it coming and defends easily.
Button trying to control but Jones postures up.
Button is trying to get back to full guard.
Button is trying is best to control the position here.

Jones is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Jones seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Button does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Lester Jones has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Button moves into the clinch.
Button is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Jones decides to pull guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jones is looking for a triangle but Button pushes his legs off easily.

Button is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Ben Button has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Button lands a jab.
It looks like Lester Jones has been cut.
Button throws a half hearted mid kick.
Jones looks for a takedown but Button sprawls well.
Ben Button seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jones gets tackled into the cage by Button. Button maintains the clinch.
Jones is trying to drag Button to the mat but Button just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Jones is breathing heavily.
Button slowing the pace effectively.

Jones jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Button walks away with a smile on his face. Jones gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lester Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Button clinches up against the cage.
Button stalling the fight.
Button lands a nice uppercut.
Button lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Jones backwards.
Jones tries to pull guard but Button won't allow it.
Button lands a shoulder strike.
Button has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Jones tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Button just stands there and leans against the cage.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Button lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Button cracks Jones with a nice body shot.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ben Button dominated that round.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Button drops Jones with a beautiful combination! Jones stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Button is looking for the KO!

Button lands a big uppercut and this one is all over! His foe lies motionless on the canvas - a massive one punch knockout!
