Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lucas LaVey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rik McRae (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McRae has chosen Slipknot - Before I Forget as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from LaVey as McRae shoots in.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now McRae is on top in guard.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
LaVey scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
McRae fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and LaVey has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
