PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Lilb Sagraves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mago Amarration (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Sagraves might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to how you like me now. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Lilb Sagraves!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mago Amarration!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Fedor Mirinova and Viktor Lagutenko.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sagraves lands a slapping body shot.
Amarration takes a jab right on the kisser.
Sagraves moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Sagraves swinging wildly here.
Amarration shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Sagraves as he jumps to the side.
Amarration doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
A nice combination there by Sagraves.

Amarration looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Sagraves actively working from the bottom here.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sagraves is pressing down on Amarration's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Amarration is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Sagraves has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Amarration is looking to defend but Sagraves has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Amarration! Sagraves pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Amarration taps out and this one is all over!

Lilb Sagraves decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
