Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Batty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and CJ Stenner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stenner has chosen Ektomorf feat. Danko Jones - The One as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, David Batty!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, CJ Stenner!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Stenner gets a clinch.

Batty breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
CJ Stenner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stenner tries to clinch but fails miserably

and Batty counters by clinching up.
Stenner is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Batty is defending well for now.
Batty fails to pull guard.
Stenner stalls.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Batty tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Batty managing to block the knees to the body from Stenner.
Batty misses with an elbow over the top.

Batty is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Stenner can't fight it off and eventually Batty manages to take the fight to the floor. Stenner looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Stenner pushes Batty off and scrambles back to his feet.

Stenner wants to clinch but Batty slips to the side
and Batty counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Batty is looking to score with low kicks.
Batty displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Stenner.
Stenner closes the distance looking to clinch
and Batty counters with a nice body kick.
Stenner tries to clinch up.

Stenner moves into range and clinches up with Batty.
Batty tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Stenner smiles and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for David Batty. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Stenner wants to clinch up but Batty keeps it at a distance.

Batty shoots for a double leg takedown but Stenner sprawls well. He's pushed Batty's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Horrible takedown by Stenner or perhaps it was just good defense by Batty which made him look bad.

Batty closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Batty on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Stenner throws an elbow that misses.

Batty pulls guard effortlessly.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Stenner has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Batty is proving hard to escape from.

Stenner decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Batty avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Stenner tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Stenner darts in trying to clinch
and Batty counters with a nice low kick that buckles Stenner's knee momentarily.
Batty could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Stenner is looking to clinch but Batty is avoiding it.
Stenner shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Batty defends it nicely.
Stenner missing with a left hand there. Batty was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Batty misses with a few strikes there.

Batty is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Stenner is defending well.
Stenner is trying to maintain a safe position but Batty gets an underhook and turns Stenner into the cage.
Stenner is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Batty is defending well for now.

Batty is trying to break the clinch but Stenner is controlling him.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but CJ Stenner will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Batty closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Stenner did well to prevent Batty getting side control.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Batty stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Stenner.
Stenner moves in looking to clinch but Batty pushes him off.
Stenner misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Stenner tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Batty manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Stenner shoots in looking for a takedown but Batty manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Stenner's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

David Batty is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Batty dives in and grabs Stenner's left leg, looking for a takedown. Stenner pushes down on Batty's head and hops out.

Batty fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Stenner.

The fighters circle momentarily. Stenner darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

CJ Stenner is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Batty tries to pull guard but Stenner forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Batty jumps guard but Stenner stands there with Batty around his waist. Batty gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
David Batty has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

CJ Stenner comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Stenner winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
