Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sylar Gray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dean Stevens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gray comes to the cage accompanied by Saving me. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Sylar Gray! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
22 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Dean Stevens! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Chris Edwards and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gray thows a leg kick but Stevens checks it and Stevens counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Gray on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Stevens. Stevens obviously looking to wear him down.
Gray moves out of range as Stevens strikes. Gray misses with a looping right. Stevens blocks the body kick.
Stevens throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Stevens connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Gray momentarily.
Stevens throws a body kick that misses. Gray fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
The fighters circling - Gray throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Stevens slips a straight right by Gray. Stevens digs a good body shot into Gray's ribs. Stevens steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Gray. Stevens avoids the head kick by Gray.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stevens shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Stevens drops an elbow to the side of Gray's head. Stevens has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Stevens raining down shots from the mount! Stevens controlling from mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Stevens looking to ground and pound but Gray is blocking nicely. Stevens is in the full mount, landing strikes. Stevens is landing with some decent strikes but Gray is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Stevens scoring with strikes but Gray is staying in there. Gray holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Stevens tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Stevens raining down shots from the mount!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stevens controlling from the full mount. Gray in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Gray can't escape the position.
Gray knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Stevens on the ground. Stevens punching from mount but Gray doing a good job of avoiding damage. Stevens dominating with strikes here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stevens unloading with bombs! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Stevens thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Stevens can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Gray is looking to escape. BOOM! Stevens connects with a massive shot to the dome!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Stevens looking to control and managing it successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dean Stevens dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Gray throws a leg kick that is checked and Stevens counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Gray swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Gray misses with an uppercut. Stevens saw that one coming. Stevens connects with a looping right hand.
Stevens thows a body kick. Gray tries to catch it but that hurt him. Gray bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Stevens's head. Stevens works Gray's body with a nice hook. Stevens has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Gray throws a lazy body kick and Stevens counters with a nice uppercut. Sylar Gray seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Stevens scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Stevens lands a high kick!
Stevens fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Gray has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Gray misses with an uppercut. Stevens thuds his right hand into Gray's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Gray misses with a hook
and Stevens lands a stunning uppercut that sends Gray to the mat!
Gray is rocked!
It looks like Sylar Gray has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stevens slips a nice elbow through Gray's hands, connecting with Gray's forehead. Oh Gray is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Dean Stevens has got the better of the ground game so far. Stevens is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Gray is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Dean Stevens! Dean Stevens retains his welterweight title! Dean Stevens very nearly forgot to thank Prestige Nutrition (160!) amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name.
