Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dingo Warrior (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dick Throttle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dingo Warrior has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dingo Warrior!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Dick Throttle!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, John Kavanagh and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Throttle fails with the takedown
and Warrior makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Throttle really felt that one!
Throttle tries to clinch but Warrior moves out of range.
Throttle scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Warrior doesn't seem bothered though.
Throttle misses with a head kick.
Throttle rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Warrior moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Throttle takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Throttle throws a nice looking combination but Warrior bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Throttle.
Warrior misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

and Warrior counters with a head kick. That will keep Throttle thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

and Warrior counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Throttle is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Warrior has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

Warrior avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Throttle trying to control the position from guard on top but Warrior is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Throttle is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Throttle must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Warrior is adopting a defensive guard.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Dick Throttle wasn't active enough on the ground.
Throttle shoots in looking for a takedown but Warrior manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Throttle's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
The fight stays on the outside here - Throttle looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Throttle throws a series of punches but Warrior moves out of range.
Throttle darts in trying to clinch
and Warrior makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Throttle jumps guard but Warrior turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Throttle tries to break the clinch but Warrior is controlling the position.
Throttle wants to break free but Warrior has control.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Throttle takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Throttle is working for takedown but Warrior is calmly controlling the position for now.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Warrior wants the takedown. Throttle is fighting it off but Warrior persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Throttle's guard against the cage.
Throttle isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Warrior stacks Throttle on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Warrior!

Warrior fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Throttle, pushing him back against the cage.
Warrior is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Throttle gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Warrior really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

and Warrior counters with a head kick. That will keep Throttle thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Throttle tries to close the distance and clinch but Warrior swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Dick Throttle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Come on Throttle - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Throttle tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Warrior has Throttle pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Warrior pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Throttle tumbling to the mat - Warrior dives into Throttle's guard.

You can see the frustration on Throttle's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Warrior is staying tight to Throttle's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Throttle can't do much from the bottom here.

Well Warrior has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
